Seats
The majority of 3 wheel double buggies begin as single pushchairs. However, compact 3 wheel stroller can be converted to accept an additional seat by using adapters. Some models allow you to add an additional board for older kids who are ready to walk, but require a little help.
Take a look at the Joie Evalite Duo for a lightweight option perfect for city streets. It is easy to maneuver and has a large basket with lots of storage. It can accommodate twins as young as birth and accept two car seats or an infant carrycot and seat. However, the seats have to be oriented forward and there's no room for a shopping bag underneath, so you'll need a sidepack to do this.
Mountain Buggy Duet will be the best choice if you enjoy off-road driving. It is a side by side model with the slimmest footprint of any double buggy that is available. This makes it easier to squeeze through doors that are narrow and on public transport and allows you to climb up and down kerbs without too much trouble. It can accommodate a massive 30 seating configurations, and comes with a built-in ride-on board for older children who prefer to walk, as well as a 'cinema' seating mode that raises the back of the seat to improve visibility.
The phil&teds dots are brilliant single buggys that can be easily adapted to accommodate two (or three!) different configurations. Suspension

Folding
A three-wheel double buggy folds pretty easily for storage. There are models that fold flat and stand up (as as if they were a pushchair) and also pop out to reveal a more umbrella-like folding that has the option of a hand-operated break. The more wheels the buggy has, in general the more easy it will be to maneuver through rough terrain. This is especially true if the wheels are larger than the typical size. You will have more stability and it is less likely that you have to tip over or flip your child.
The iCandy Wave is a popular choice. It can be used with an infant car-seat as early as birth, and later converted to a double buggy after your child has reached the age of. It's a comfortable and light-feeling model which makes it easy to push and comes with extra features like raincover and a bumper bar.

This is one of the most comfortable double buggies for jogging with your children. It has a front wheel that can be locked, that will allow you to keep your balance on hilly or off-road terrain. It also has a spacious undercarriage basket, a movable handlebar, and a soft suspension for a comfy ride.
This is a lightweight compact and compact option that folds using just one hand. It's perfect to take on trips.
